According to PPM, this room (in the north-west corner of the atrium/courtyard) which had been a cubiculum was then converted into the kitchen and latrine.
In the north-west corner of this room was the latrine.
The floor was of cocciopesto and embedded with pieces of white tesserae under the area of the bed, with a decorative scheme including meanders and a double diamond pattern outlined with white tesserae in the antechamber.
The wall was decorated with relief stucco in the I style, with the zoccolo decorated with prospective cubes surmounted by a top of imitation alabaster and by bosses.
The bench of the kitchen and supports for the latrine, leaning against the north wall, were already collapsed in 1977, together with the north wall.
